This video offers a look into Austin Peace Academy’s Language Arts Program.  Teachers Aimen Ansari and Kerry Brackin provide a glimpse into their classes and teaching philosophies.  Language Arts plays a critical role in the development of a strong Muslim identity in our youth and enabling them with the tools to be active, positive participants in society and in the Ummah.Students learn about the importance of language and its devices to convey and articulate their thoughts and positions.  In addition, the teachers incorporate Qur’anic verses within the context of rhetoric, rhyming, and other literary devices, bringing the verses to life for the students.  Austin Peace Academy values this organic cross of Islamic and Secular knowledge.
